to a video that will show you or explain to you how to set up a parent account using the canvas parent app on your cell phone so the first step parents you will need to download the can it's the one that is white with a blue it says Campus Parent you can download this from the App Store is free and once you have that on your device you will not need I just have it on here for the tutorial purposes your child has this already set up on their iPad or whatever device they're using right now for distance learning so again the child is going to have to login First their account to find or generate a pairing code so the first type in leusd and you'll make sure you select the Lake Elsinore Unified School District child is going to enter their credentials to log into canvas their credentials will be there six digit student ID followed by leusd K12 . CA us type in their 8-digit birthday is their password once that's tight end they'll go ahead and sign into their account and they will see again there and then it will give you some options you want to make sure you select settings once you swipe in settings you will see a tab pair with Observer like pair with Observer that will generate that you need to count that you will use when you try to sign in using your parent account remember this is case sensitive right there keeping in mind that there are lowercase and uppercase letters in this code once you've written this go down it's like done and you'll slyke done more time then the child is going to log out of their account and then we'll get out of this app here and then parents you will go to the canvas parent account and again is going to ask you to find school you're going to type in leusd and you will see two options again make sure you select the Lake Elsinore unified parents auction once you select this option you will see at the very bottom of the pan a place where it says parent of a canvas user you're going to want to select create account once you swipe a trade account you will type in your full name you're going to type in your email address you will create a password and then you could re-enter that password that you created once that's done you will answer that code that you wrote down from your child account and then you select on that you agree to the terms of use the privacy policy once you've completed this portion you'll go ahead and select start participating and you will be able to see your child canvas account this will help you monitor great again.
