Families!!!!! GEMS is on FACEBOOK! A Facebook page has been created just for you. So far we have more than 300 members and it's growing daily.
The group has become a terrific resource to ask questions and get information. Several teachers are members of the group, as well as parents, students and alumni. Students can post questions on homework and get help from friends or often times, their teachers.
Joining the page does not give other group members access to your profile, so you can get info without giving up your privacy.

GEMS Community Service
The GEMS Program highly encourages its students to participate in a minimum
of five hours of community service per semester. Students should turn them into their science teachers.
We have an exciting way for students to earn community service credit on campus this year! We are exploring the idea of doing a blanket drive to benefit a local charity (possibly giving blankets to children entering foster care). Look for more information soon. Students would stay after school on the designated day and tie blankets for deserving kids. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to help.
