May 18 is our last STEAM Saturday event of this school year! For those of you who are new to our school, STEAM Saturdays are free STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) related classes for your child to participate in. Each STEAM Saturday has 2 classes that your student will rotate into. They happen at least once a month with different classes each time on a Saturday from 8am-12:15pm. Each class is 2 hours long with a lunch break in between rotations. Students go to both classes. A small lunch is provided for each attendee. Bussing is not available for these events, so students need a ride or permission to walk home. Attending one of these events can makeup one unexcused absence that your student has.
On May 18 we have Mr. Cortez doing 3D Flower creation and Ms. Cacho doing Mini Catapults creation! It's going to be a fun day! These events also give you, parents/guardians, a nice 4-hour break to get any errands/tasks done while your kiddo has a fun half day on campus. If you are interested, please fill out one of the permission slip forms below. This event is for current Elsinore Middle School Students ONLY. Classes start promptly at 8 am so be sure to drop them off early and pick up is at 12:15 pm. Please use the Staff parking lot off of Mohr street for pickup and drop off.
