Good afternoon EMS parents!  

Below is a link to a survey stating your desire to have your student participate in one of two summer school sessions being offered this summer for our current students.  (Example:  8th grade will still attend at EMS for the summer before moving to high school next year.) The purpose of this opportunity is to address learning recovery due to distance learning this last year. Two sessions will be offered:  Session 1-June 14-July 1 and Session 2-July 19-August 5.  Students will attend Monday-Thursday for 12 days in the  following format:
Daily Schedule:
8:00-8:30 AM- SEL Activity-Taught in Group 1 class
8:30-10:15 AM- Group 1: Math or English
10:15-10:45 AM- Break for students (food provided)
10:45-12:30 PM- Group 2: Math or English (math would go to English and English to math)
12:30 PM- Release

Students who sign up will be expected to attend both groups daily and all current safety protocols will be followed. Priority for placement will be on a first come, first served basis and space is limited. Your choice below is your preference and students may be moved from sessions depending on space and enrollment. Transportation will not be provided to and from school. Session 2 is the same curriculum as Session 1 so students will not be able to attend both. Please respond to this survey for each student in you household that attends EMS by 12 PM (Noon) next Wednesday, May 26, or sooner if you hope to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
