Students’ designated times cannot be changed so families need to plan accordingly. Please note: Students will only need to attend school that day for their designated ceremony and can leave after their ceremony with their families. If students have to ride the bus in the morning, we will have places for 8th grade students to wait on campus until their scheduled ceremony.
Due to limited seating, each student will receive two (2) tickets for guests to the ceremony for their designated time and the ceremony will be recorded and posted on our website for families who were unable to attend. Please see below for details regarding ceremony attendance:
- Students need to arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled ceremony at the check in area on the side of the MPR.
- Doors will open 15 minutes before each ceremony for guests.
- No posters, balloons or noisemakers are allowed in the MPR.
- Every guest must have a ticket for their specific ceremony, regardless of age.
- Doors will close at the start of the ceremony and late students and guests will not be allowed in.
- Semi formal attire suggested for promoting 8th graders.
Families will have the opportunity to take pictures outside the MPR after the ceremony but will need to leave in time to provide families for the next ceremony to enter.
Promotion tickets will be distributed to 8th grade students during their 6th period class on Tuesday, June 4. Lost, damaged or stolen tickets cannot be replaced so please make sure your students are responsible and give them to you on that date.
Thank you very much and we’re so excited to celebrate our promoting Tigers of 2024!
