I wanted to take the time to remind you that state testing does matter. It is a chance for students to show what they have learned - and they have learned a lot this year! Great test scores promote a school as a place of high achievement, which improves our school ratings. Good school ratings have a positive impact on home values.
CAASPP and CAST test scores also help with student placement in advanced classes, as well as course placement in high school.
