EMS 2025 Promotion Reminders

Monday, June 9th, students will participate in a promotion ceremony practice during the school day. Practice times are based on your student’s assigned ceremony:

  • Ceremony A will practice during 2nd period
  • Ceremony B will practice during 3rd period
  • Ceremony C will practice during 4th period

Please remind your students that they will need to know their assigned seat number, which is printed on the outside of the envelope in which they received their promotion tickets. This number is important for both the practice and the ceremony.

Ceremony Day Reminders:

  • Students only need to attend school during their designated ceremony and may leave with their families afterward.
  • If students must ride the bus in the morning, we will have a supervised area on campus for them to wait until their ceremony time.

Ceremony Attendance Details:

  • Students must arrive 30 minutes prior to their ceremony to check in at the MPR side entrance.
  • Doors open for guests 15 minutes before each ceremony.
  • Every guest must have a ticket for the correct ceremony, regardless of age.
  • No posters, balloons, or noisemakers allowed in the MPR.
  • Doors will close at the start of the ceremony—no late entry for students or guests.
  • Semi-formal attire is suggested for all promoting students.
  • Families may take pictures outside the MPR after the ceremony, but we ask that you clear the area promptly to allow space for the next group.
  • Parking: Please park on side streets and enter campus through the pedestrian gate on Mohr Street. The staff parking lot will be closedPlease refer to the attached picture.

Ticket Information:

  • Promotion tickets were distributed to 8th grade students during their 6th period class on Thursday, June 5.
  • If your student has not received their tickets, please have them pick them up from the front office in the morning.
