✨ What is STEAM?
STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Each month, EMS teachers host hands-on, fun, and creative workshops that allow students to explore new skills and subjects in exciting ways.
📚 Event Details
- Who: Current EMS Students (FREE event!)
- When: Saturday, September 6, 2025
- Time: 8:00 AM – 12:15 PM
- Where: Drop-off & pick-up in the staff parking lot off Mohr Street. 🚗 (No other gates will be open.)
- Lunch: Short break halfway through the day – a small lunch is provided however, students may bring a snack or light lunch if they prefer.
- Transportation: 🚫 Bussing is NOT available so please plan transportation accordingly-students can get picked up by a parent/guardian or get permission to walk home (please indicate on the permission slip if student is walking home to give permission.)
- Absence Credit: Attendance at STEAM Saturday makes up 1 unexcused absence.
🎨 This Month’s Classes
Students will rotate through two exciting sessions:
- Paint & Snack with Ms. Hodges 🎨
- Sticker Creation with Mr. Cortez ✨

- Parents/Guardians must submit a permission slip for their student to attend.
