Interested in being a Link Crew Leader?
Link Crew Leaders help welcome our incoming 6th graders and make them feel comfortable and excited about starting at EMS. This is a great opportunity to show leadership, build confidence, and make a positive impact on our school community.
As a Link Crew Leader, you will help lead Step Up To Tiger Territory on February 10th, an event that welcomes current 5th graders who will be 6th graders at EMS next year. This event helps students get familiar with our campus and learn what to expect when transitioning from elementary to middle school.
On February 10th, you must be on campus by 7:30 a.m. to welcome students in the MPR, organize groups, and lead a campus tour using a provided plan with 20 stops. Each group will have 15–16 students, and you will help lead your group with at least one other Link Crew Leader.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2.5 GPA on your 1st semester report card
• Be available to attend both required trainings in the library on February 3rd and February 5th from 7:30–8:25 a.m.
• Be available to arrive early on February 10th for the event
