8th Grade Promotion for 2026

Our promotion ceremonies will be on Tuesday, June 2 and due to space limitations and facilities, we will be holding two separate ceremonies that will take place outside at our track and field area at the following times based on students’ last names:

  • 9:00 AM  Last names A-L (Ceremony A)
  • 11:00 AM Last names M-Z (Ceremony B) 

Students’ designated times cannot be changed so families need to plan accordingly.

Each student will receive two (2) tickets for guests to the ceremony for their designated time and the ceremony will be recorded and posted on our website for families who were unable to attend.  Please see below for details regarding ceremony attendance:

  • Students need to arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled ceremony at the check in area on the side of the MPR.  The gate on Mohr St. will be open for students to enter.
  • The gate off Lewis street will open 15 minutes before each ceremony for guests to walk into the field. Park on side streets, enter the pedestrian gate. Parking Lot will be closed.
  • No posters, balloons or noisemakers are allowed.
  • Every guest must have a ticket for their specific ceremony, regardless of age.
  • Gates will close at the start of the ceremony and late students and guests will not be allowed in.
  • Semi formal attire suggested for promoting 8th graders.

8th Grade Promotion Ceremony Map

Promotion tickets will be distributed to 8th grade students during their 6th period class on Thursday, May 28th.  Lost, damaged or stolen tickets cannot be replaced so please make sure your students are responsible and give them to you on that date.
