What is PLUS' mission?
P.L.U.S’ mission is to create a campus environment where safety and support are accessible to all students. Student leaders use various strategies designed to break down barriers of exclusion between groups and to cultivate positive relationships. By creating spaces where everyone feels valued and listened to, we nurture connection and inclusivity, strengthening our school community and enhancing student engagement.
What does PLUS do on your campus?
- Creates a safe, inclusive school through activities promoting positive relationships among students and staff.
- Monthly Forums for students to connect, share problems, and discuss ideas to improve school.
- Assess campus needs with data - identify and address critical issues affecting youth development.
- Student-led events at lunch to encourage kindness and/or raise awareness of sensitive issues affecting students' experiences.
- Tiger TV: student-produced videos to enhance school culture and communication
- Participate in P.L.U.S. - Forums & school activities.
- Help lead awareness campaigns & kindness challenges.
- Share your ideas and be a voice for your peers.
- Take action to make our school a better place for everyone!
