Welcome to the 24-25 school year!

 I am the Academic and Engagement Specialist. My role is to build bridges-connecting students, teachers, and families to the resources they need to be successful. I specifically work to increase attendance and provide support for students struggling with behavioral issues.l I strive to support the school community to make the middle school years exciting and memorable, filled with tons of learning opportunities and new adventures for our students.

ABOUT ME:

I have taught middle school for 17 years. I have taught in the following subjects:

-ELA/SS (grade 6)

-AVID teacher (grades 6 and 8)

-SEL elective teacher (grades 6,7,8)

-Intervention and GATE teacher (grade 6)

I am also a Yoga certified instructor and Wellness Champion from Breathe for Change.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE:

I have two daughters (grades 6 and 8), stepson (grade 10), and a stepdaughter (grade 8). My husband is a retired Marine, and we live in Menifee with our labradoodle named Ram. We like to play minute-to-win-it games as a family. (we all can be a little too competitive sometimes). A few other favorite things I enjoy include reading, going on Harley motorcycle rides with my husband, and working out.
