welcome parents and Guardians to our video tutorial on how you can set up your parent Observer account to help support your child at home during distance learning we highly recommend that you take advantage of this account help you to monitor your child's progress Seagraves find out what assignments may be coming up in that are due and also communicate through canvas via email with your child teachers if you have multiple students in your household you will have to do this for each student show me to go ahead and get started first the child will have to log in with their reuse their campus at the use typically type go ahead and type in leusd instructure login to canvas in this case Justice 2 I'm going to go ahead and find my school and type in leusd and they'll be two options for the Lake Elsinore Unified School District parents at the end you do not want to use that one first you want to make sure your child like in underneath the Lake Elsinore Unified School District app the sign-in page will comment come up child is good type in their six digit number followed by at lust. K12 and then they're going to type in their 8-digit birthday password and then they go ahead and sign in once signed and they will see this is similar to what you will see when your child signs in you'll see all their courses on the inside your you're going to want your child to go out to those three lines the top left-hand corner go down and select settings and once you've selected set there's an option to pair with the Observer select pair with Observer and once you've done that it will generate a unique code for your child's account it is case-sensitive so make sure that you keeping in mind that there is lowercase and uppercase letters so once this is written down ahead it's like down there he's like it down there and then you're going to have your child log off by going to those three lines again and then all the way down to bottom see log out can you get a repeat the step except this time you're going to type in leusd Unified School District Lake Elsinore Unified it will take you to a similar page but at the very bottom there it says parent of canvas user and then it says create account you will select create an account you're going to type in your full name underneath that you'll type in your email address then you will create a password calling that you'll get to re-enter password that you created and then you're going to type in that unique student pairing code once you're done with that you want to make sure that you selected you agree to the terms of use and privacy policy and you go ahead and select start participating once that is done your account is setup and you should be able to see all your child's courses along with any assignments they have do music child's teacher via email I hope this video tutorial help you in setting up this account this is a very very valuable resource we hope you can get this setup so you can support your child at home if you have any questions or concerns or you're having difficulty still settings please, thank you so much
